How does it work?

It’s simple and it’s easy. Linking your truck GPS with Farm Health Guardian gives you access to biosecurity reports, maps and real-time notifications to strengthen transport biosecurity. The link is in the background through API and once it’s set up, you will have an added layer of biosecurity data at your fingertips.

You’ll get real-time alerts sent to your phone if your biosecurity protocols are breached. You’ll also be able to:

  • Check adherence to health pyramid flow or group
  • Assign vehicles to a group of properties or farms and be notified if those trucks visit farms outside of their assigned properties
  • Verify that downtime requirements are met
  • Confirm truck wash visits, and more.

Multiple truck GPS systems can be combined on one dashboard so you can see all truck movements in one place. This also allows the animal health team to quickly determine which other properties are at risk if you suspect a disease outbreak at a farm.

For livestock trailers or vehicles that aren’t equipped with GPS, our GPS devices are easily installed on any vehicle.
