Founded in 2013, the company strives to protect the health and sustainability of the livestock industry and those who work within it, through real-time disease monitoring and response technology.
Tim has dedicated his career to livestock research. As the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) he strives to help livestock and poultry farmers prevent disease in their barns and provide response tools to disease outbreaks. With a focus on disease observation and prevention, Tim is dedicated to improving biosecurity across the globe, starting with the development of Farm Health Protect and Farm Health Monitor.
As a Farm Health Guardian partner and CEO, Rob is committed to providing technology solutions to create a healthy and sustainable agri-food industry. Rob has proven experience in building and marketing innovative businesses like Farm Health Guardian. He is also President of Synthesis Agri-Food Network where he leads a team of consulting and communications professionals to push the boundaries of agri-food leadership and innovation.
Lorraine brings 20 years of experience in the agri-food sector to her role at Farm Health Guardian, specifically in managing biosecurity and traceability initiatives for provincial and national commodity associations. As Biosecurity and Stakeholder Relations Lead, Lorraine collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that Farm Health Guardian brings the best biosecurity features to our clients and is on the leading edge of biosecurity trends and protocols. With a sharp focus on delivering results, Lorraine also manages research/product development projects with stakeholder organizations in Canada, including government funded projects.
Zach is an experienced Devops engineer and has worked on embedded software for leading edge smart technologies. He brings wide-ranging knowledge of coding, infrastructure management and system administration to the team. As Senior Software Engineer, Zach uses his expertise to focus on bringing new biosecurity technologies from proof of concept to completed product. He draws on his background with software and firmware for IoT sensors to improve GPS and other biosecurity technologies for our clients.
As Senior Software Engineer, Jeff supports the Farm Health Guardian team developing software for the smart biosecurity system. He brings extensive experience in software development – front and back-end technologies – and understands what it takes to create user-friendly software as a service platform for our customers. Jeff is a problem solver who is driven to write clear, concise code. His talent and skill will provide Farm Health Guardian users with the smoothest experience as they onboard to the system and adapt to use the digital biosecurity platform to manage the health and protect against the risk of disease in their barns.
As the Farm Health Guardian Customer Support Coordinator, Adam works on the biosecurity front line, ensuring our software system meets the needs of our clients to keep their livestock and poultry barns healthy. He’s a problem-solver and loves a challenge, especially when it comes to finding solutions to manage animal and employee health and safety. Adam brings first-hand knowledge and experience in animal care, biosecurity, and customer support as it relates to agriculture software.
As the Farm Health Guardian Customer Support Coordinator, Alicia works on the biosecurity front line, ensuring our software system meets the needs of our clients to keep their livestock and poultry barns healthy. She’s a problem-solver and loves a challenge, especially when it comes to finding solutions to manage animal and employee health and safety. Alicia brings a more than a decade of first-hand knowledge and experience in animal care, health, research and biosecurity protocols.
Nancy has dedicated her career to helping clients solve problems. In her role as the bilingual Farm Health Guardian Customer Service Coordinator, she works alongside clients to ensure the best customer experience. Her knowledge of the Farm Health Guardian software, combined with years of customer service and sales experience make Nancy a go-to resource for product knowledge and support. Nancy has a broad knowledge of the agriculture industry and is fluent in English and French.
