September 18, 2025 – Guelph, Ontario, Canada: Farm Health Guardian welcomes two new team members to support the company’s growth in digital livestock biosecurity technology. Carlos Ovando has joined the team as Technology Support Representative based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Moises Encalada the position of Customer Success Content Specialist based in Guelph, Ontario. Both roles are integral to supporting Farm Health Guardian’s expansion in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
“Carlos has a deep knowledge of pork production and has worked with some of the largest pork companies in the U.S. Midwest,” says Rob Hannam, Farm Health Guardian CEO. “Moises brings valuable experience as a graphic designer and communicator, which will be essential for developing customer onboarding materials and training resources. We’re proud to add such expertise to support our customers as they enhance their biosecurity protocols using Farm Health Guardian technology.”
Carlos holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Veracruz in Mexico. He brings extensive experience working with producers across the U.S. Midwest to provide training on new technologies and drive adoption, helping them achieve their production goals. Carlos is recognized for his clear communication and problem-solving skills. As a Technology Support Representative, Carlos will build strong client relationships to ensure that customers can maximize the value of Farm Health Guardian technology.
Moises has an advanced diploma in graphic design from Humber North College. He brings over four years of experience in design and marketing, including expertise in developing e-commerce solutions that improve efficiency and drive sales. Moises has proven experience in digital and email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance campaigns and boost user engagement. Moises enjoys working with leading edge hardware and software technology and is fully fluent in Spanish.
